Yin Yoga is a physical practice, which affects the flow of energy through the connective tissue and stimulates mobility in our joints.

It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which itself stimulates the immune system.

In this practice, we also learn how to establish friendship with our body and mind, while practising mindfulness and awareness.

This workshop is designed to provide the participants with basic tools in Thai massage, so that they can use them directly and already start to practice during the festival.

When in extreme desert conditions and overstimulated by the many impulses we receive there, there is an essential need to create an oasis of care towards our own bodies and minds and to support our close ones.

What you can expect:

We will explore basic principles of touch such as palming, and the ability to sense and hear your body and your partner’s, as well as the processes of rocking and sinking into each other’s presence.

A gentle winter solstice gathering to slow down, reconnect with the body, and welcome the returning light.

On the darkest day of the year, when the night reaches its deepest quiet and the world pauses between cycles, a new Sun begins its rise. We gather to honor this turning point of light and renewal — through practices that invite you to slow down, soften, and come back into the body.

What awaits us:

Gentle embodied practice, weaving a Winter Solstice Wreath, gratitude for the past year, voice & rhythm practice, lighting the candle of Returning Light.

It will be a warm gathering filled with intention — a chance to reconnect with the ancient truth that even in the deepest night, the light is already returning.
